‘Tis the Preseason to Be Jolly

Hi, it’s Linda, your busy, busy artist friend!

I have a few things to share with you today…

First up, I want to mention how dearly I love my husband Tom. No, it’s not our anniversary…. it’s SHOWTIME! My van is constantly being packed full of my art and gifts, show supplies, shelving, and tables. We’re in a constant re-stocking mode for each of our shows, and Tom is always my greatest asset! It wouldn’t be nearly so much fun without him working alongside me. He’s essential in keeping us on track this year… and in every season!

With my artwork being organized and logistics in place, I am so excited to be back at Bethel Presbyterian Church this Saturday for their annual holiday show. You can find me in the auditorium along the back wall, just like last year. I’ll be there from 9 am to 3 pm, fully stocked with all my new paintings, giftware, and holiday/note cards for your convenience!

Next, I have a link for my TV special that I did with Maria’s Idea Art on BPTV. You can follow Maria’s instructions while you paint alongside us! It was fun and challenging for me because I’m a “dry painter” using soft pastels, and this project was done in acrylic. Have fun with it! And if you do join our painting party, I would love to see your finished painting! You can access the show at your convenience at https://youtu.be/SWgVIyp8I68?si=QVzsDvSbHKXJkiv1

Lastly, can you believe the Holiday Market in Market Square is only two weeks away? It starts November 22nd and runs every day through Christmas Eve, December 24th.  Except for Thanksgiving Day, of course, when we sleep in, eat turkey, and go back to sleep!

Have a terrific week!  And I hope to see some of you on Saturday at Bethel Presbyterian Church!

PS – A big thank-you to all who turned out for the program and to show your support at the PA Trolley Museum presentation last weekend! It was a fun time and a great way to dive in to the Holiday Season!
