Bonjour! C’est Linda!
Yes, Tom and I finally made it to Canada yesterday. We’re in the beautiful Province of Quebec and trying to brush up on our Canadian French… which isn’t going too well. Fortunately, we’ve met only kind and patient people so far!
My 50-year High School Class Reunion was a hit! Seeing old friends and making new relationships made the day delightful! So many memories that I hadn’t thought about in ages led to lots of laughter and wonder. I loved it when some of the guys and gals recalled the days when they skipped school in our senior year and the hijinks that ensued! Let’s just say the 70’s was an interesting time to be young! Yet somehow, everyone turned out just fine.
Before we headed north to New Hampshire to see the rest of my sister’s family, we were able to meet up with my nephew Jon and my high school bestie and her husband.
After the last couple of months with all that was happening with our granddaughter and knowing that she’s on the road to recovery now, we felt comfortable taking some R&R and spending this time relaxing.
With the release of my new calendar last Friday (70 pre-orders already!) we thought we’d take a little bit of Pittsburgh along with us just for fun!
So don’t be surprised if you should see my calendar pop up every now and again along the route of our travels. Flat Stanley now has a new look!

Though the calendar was for sale at my reunion (and one was won in a raffle!), it didn’t show up in any photo that I have access to. However, it did show up on the Kancamagus Highway, heading up through the White Mountains. My niece, Donna, posed for me at a cute old-fashioned store in the Clark’s Bears Trading Post. (As a teenager, Donna was painted twice by me in “Skating Together at PPG.”)

The calendar also made an appearance for this newsletter in the lovely garden at our B&B in Magog, Canada.
When you purchase my calendar, you’re purchasing more than just a Pittsburgh Calendar… you’re collecting memories.
My 2027 Pittsburgh calendar features 13 of my handpicked paintings and one extra bonus center-spread poster! Plus, I will personally sign each calendar in gold before mailing them out!
