Kaufmann’s Department Store was a favorite destination where Santa, seated on his majestic throne, warmly greeted each child after they happily waited in long lines just to have their moment with him.
The shy little boy in the painting is looking up in awe at Santa while clutching his Kaufmann’s toy catalog.
