  • “He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf, And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself; A wink of his eye and a twist of his head, Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.” This lighthearted poem by Clement Moore’s “A Visit from St. Nicholas” truly inspired “Santa’s Merry Wink!”

  • Kaufmann’s Department Store was a favorite destination where Santa, seated on his majestic throne, warmly greeted each child after they happily waited in long lines just to have their moment with him.

  • With childlike joy, Santa leans over the train to look down the track. Clickity-clack, the train circles round the platform and heads back to the curve. Santa exclaims, “Choo! Choo! All aboard!”

  • Santa settles into his favorite chair by the glowing fire and enjoys an early evening snack of milk and cookies. The best part of the day is reading heartfelt letters mailed to him by children from all around the world.

  • As legend goes, all animals are able to speak and play together on Christmas Eve. Santa and his reindeer, Prancer, love to stop by on Christmas in the wee small hours of the morning to bring gifts to all their woodland friends.
