A trip to beautiful Kennywood Park wouldn’t be complete without a rollicking ride on the Auto Race, barreling down the wooden track in historic cars reminiscent of yesteryear. Across the way is Kennywood Railroad with it’s gleaming silver engine and open-sided cars. A gentle ride along the hillside transports travelers on an excursion above the river and back into Pittsburgh’s history and lore.

Linda Barnicott is well known for her paintings of historic Kennywood Amusement Park in Western Pennsylvania.
